Andy Streiff is an energetic seventeen-year-old Junior at Saint Louis Priory School who has recently been diagnosed with a form of Leukemia.  As Andy embarks on this fight with optimism and courage, many people have expressed a desire to stand with him and offer support.  In response to the question, “How can I help?” we offer these three simple suggestions.

• There is simply no substitute for your prayers. Please pray for Andy. And pray for Andy’s family, his doctors, his nurses and his entire medical team. In the coming weeks, we will be organizing regular opportunities for communal prayer for those who might be interested. In the meantime, please remember Andy in your prayers and ask those around you to do the same.

• Throughout his treatment, Andy will need both whole blood and platelets. At this point, we are trying to build a database of people willing to consider donating.
